Volunteers are an essential and much valued part of our organisation. Whether it’s fundraising in the community, driving patients to medical appointments, working alongside staff in our office, providing emotional support, befriending or meeting and greeting patients at local hospitals, their contribution is vital. To find out more about becoming a volunteer please call our Volunteer Co-ordinator on 01626 771695.
If you already volunteer with us, please could you spare 5-10 minutes to complete this short online survey to tell us about your experience and help us to give all volunteers the best possible support during their time with us.
If you are able to support our work by raising funds at work, at home, in your community or by joining one of our events then we would be delighted to hear from you.
Volunteering in Health relies on the generosity of individuals, companies and grant-making bodies to fund its work and given the growing demands on our services this is only set to increase. We pride ourselves on being a local charity with the belief that elderly and isolated adults deserve the best care and support in their community. Whether you can donate your spare change, a few pounds, or a larger gift in your will, every donation is appreciated. Find out more about leaving a gift in your will here: Legacy Leaflet
